This review is long overdue, because I can confidently say this is one of, if not THE, best electrolysis experiences I've had, and I'm so grateful I found this amazing clinic.

I've had electrolysis done in the past, but the results I've seen over the last 6 months with Surila and Monika have been the most consistent and impressive I've ever experienced. They use the galvanic-thermolysis blend method which has been incredibly effective for me - my unwanted hair has thinned out significantly and I'm genuinely excited to start treating other areas of my body with them.

At this point, they know me so well that they can read me instantly - they can tell right away if something is feeling too sensitive and immediately adjust the settings, change needle types or add numbing cream or aftercare. Their ability to respond in real time to my sensitivity levels that day is actually amazing.

I primarily see Surila for my face and neck - she's incredibly meticulous, gentle and always makes me feel comfortable. And Monika handles most of the rest of my treatments, and she's fantastic as well - especially for longer sessions or weekend appointments. Both of them are extremely detail-oriented and really listen to feedback.

The clinic itself is clean, warm, and welcoming. I've only worked with Surila and Monika so far, but I'm sure Manjula is just as wonderful - they're all part of the same generous and experienced family who have been doing this for decades. It shows. Their expertise and professionalism are obvious from the moment you walk in, and they tailor every treatment to the individual.

They're also incredibly understanding and flexible with scheduling, which I appreciate, and prices are fair - especially given the level of care and experience they bring. They've treated so many people over the years, including high-profile clients, and it's clear why people trust them.

I honestly don't understand the negative reviews I've seen, and they don't reflect what I've encountered at all. My experience has been nothing but positive and I would recommend this clinic to anyone considering electrolysis.

I had a great experience at Magic Touch with Surilla. I visited her last week, and from start to finish, I felt well cared for and in good hands. The space was clean and comfortable, and Surilla was warm, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. She took the time to really understand my skin, my hair removal goals, and my comfort level, and I never felt rushed or pressured into anything.

What stood out most to me was how thorough and transparent she was. She explained the electrolysis process in detail and made sure I knew what to expect both during and after treatment. Her equipment is clearly high-quality and well-maintained, and I appreciated how focused she was on hygiene and client safety. I always felt like the space was tidy and organized.

Surila is incredible! I have been plucking the coarse/terminal hairs on my neck and chin every day for years and I finally decided to try electrolysis. I'm only two months into seeing Surila for electrolysis and I've already experienced a DRAMATIC reduction in hair growth. I've had electrolysis before in the past and hands down, Surila's technique has given me the best results. She uses the blend method. Her technique is least painful, effective and I don't have to worry about excessive scabs. Its obvious that she's an experienced electrologist. Words cannot describe how blessed I am to have found Surila at Magic Touch. Although I have only gone to two electrolysis sessions so far, I have already noticed a tremendous difference. Surila is truly a miracle worker, and an incredibly kind, generous, and friendly one at that. She is extremely professional and efficient - the time flies by as you are lying down getting treated.

I had previously experimented with laser hair removal about five years back, and saw little to no long term results. I decided to finally get up the courage to try electrolysis – which I was nervous about since I heard it was more painful – but I am so happy I did and so happy I am doing it at Magic Touch. Surila makes you feel extremely comfortable and at home during each session and will talk with you as she is performing the electrolysis. She has been doing this for over 30 years and it’s very clear she is extremely skilled; I hardly noticed any pain despite the fact my first session was over an hour.

I cannot recommend Surila at Magic Touch enough to anyone out there that has to deal with unwanted hair. You will not find a better, more professional and skilled woman in the city to perform electrolysis. Surilla is an excellent electrologist. I have seen a few before, and have had the least amount of irritation and redness with Surilla. If I have an ingrown, she takes time to carefully remove it and leave minimal damage. I can walk out after having even delicate and visible areas worked on and not worry about what I would look like. I am also known as (Magdalia) I started with Surila in July of 2010 and man is she the best! I have to say, I was very nervous to go since I have seen horror stories concerning electrolysis on African American Skin.

The one thing that attracted me to Magic Touch is that Surila specializes in African American Skin, I am Haitian American, and have combination skin that SCARS EASILY, ever since I have been going to Surila, her techniques have been working. I have ingrown hairs and she was able to remove them WITHOUT ANY SCARRING!

The office is cozy yet private and its located across Century 21 ( a plus for my shopping femmes).
